I love Miss Daisy books for children. ‘A python lives in my garden’ was the first one I picked up for my nephew and it has become firm favourite at bedtime – he loves to hear the story of Billy. The writing is simple enough for children to be able to read alone but not overly simplistic, so it still provides a little challenge to improve on literacy. As always with Miss Daisy books, the story is fun but still provides a lovely moral at its heart. Beautifully illustrated, the colours, rhythm and language engaged my nephew fully. Would highly recommend all the books in this collection.
I love your books you did an awesome job! I have my grand nephew and I read him the python book. He had to go get his fake snake when I was reading it to him he almost 4 years old. He loved it and a started to repeat what I was reading to him. You gave me a awesome memory with him. Thank you.
Bought a Python lives in my Garden at a market for a very knowledgeable 6 year old. She loved it and asked many, many questions after it. They are beautifully and simply told with gorgeous illustrations. Absolutely recommend this.
