At Miss Daisy Patterns / Miss Daisy Books we bring stories, creativity, and hands-on fun to children — in schools, bookshops, libraries, festivals, and community settings across Ireland.
Our work combines engaging children’s books, interactive readings, and creative craft and illustration workshops designed to spark imagination, support literacy, and encourage confident creative expression.
All sessions are age-appropriate, well structured, and delivered in line with our Safety Statement and safeguarding commitments.
Workshops & Activities
We provide a range of safe, engaging, and flexible sessions led by Tina O’Rourke and Alan Fitzpatrick, including:
- Author Readings — lively, interactive readings from our books
- Storytelling Sessions — character voices, participation, and story discussion
- Craft Workshops — creative making linked to story themes
- Illustration Workshops — draw-along and character design sessions
- Story-to-Art Activities — turning ideas from stories into visual creations
- Activity Sheets & Book-Based Projects — printable and in-session materials
